The East Carson Street ice cream shop opened for the 2022 season at 11 a.m.

There may have been snow on the ground Wednesday but that didn’t stop ice cream fans from going to Page’s in Pittsburgh’s South Side. The East Carson Street ice cream shop opened for the 2022 season at 11 a.m. “People love their ice cream and when you offer them something they can’t get anywhere else, they’ll show up. And this city is really faithful to their businesses. I’m not surprised they showed up for us, but I appreciate it,” said owner Marjorie Prusia. For the first time, Page’s now accepts credit cards. They had been cash only for 71 years.
