In the weeks following the film's theatrical release, Ryan Reynolds had revealed that a line had been cut from the script, at Disney's request. Except that the original official script for the film has just been posted online by Disney (via Variety), and it contains the original joke! So what trashy dialogue deserved to be censored in this way?
The moment takes place shortly after Wade Wilson learns that Magneto is dead. Wade then turns to the camera and says:
“Fuck! What, we can't even afford one more X-Man? Disney, you're so stingy! I can barely breathe with that big cock Mickey Mouse shoving down my throat! “
Yes, it's raw. Particularly scathing. So Disney said no.
The director Shawn Levy told Entertainment Weekly last August: “The rule we set for ourselves was not to hit a target already on the ground. We only make fun of those who can stand it. Like Hugh (Jackman) who is always the first to laugh out loud… As a result, there is only one line in the entire film that we were asked to change. And with Ryan, we made a pact: we will be buried with this line“.
Obviously, Disney did not sign the pact and does not care about releasing it to the general public.
