Rick and Morty: the completely crazy animated trailer

Japanese director Takashi Sano gives the famous interdimensional cartoon his own twist for a new 10-episode series.

Teased for months by Adult Swim, the Japanese animated version of Rick and Morty is finally here!

Rick and Morty: The Anime will be released on August 16 in France, on the Max platform, and we discover the official trailer (below) which promises a big mess (but does not reveal much of the plot).

Cut into 10 episodes, this new spin-off series – which takes place in a parallel universe – is by the Japanese director Takashi Sano. It will follow Rick as he “chills out in a pseudo-world between the multiverse, Summer helps Space Beth fight the evil Galactic Federation, and Morty falls for a mysterious girl who happens to be a timeless being.”

Rick and Morty: The Anime will be seen in the Japanese original version with subtitles, but a dubbed English version has also been recorded.

“Takashi Sano, besides being a very talented director, is also a huge fan of Rick and Morty. He was the perfect person to offer us all this alternative version of the show.” rejoices the president of Adult Swim.
