In the letter, Prime Minister Modi wrote in Hindi, ‘Very saddened to hear about the untimely death of Satish Kaushik. My condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. Late Satish Kaushik was a multifaceted personality. His talent contributed a lot to Indian cinema. A great writer, actor, filmmaker and producer, he worked in various capacities and impressed everyone.” He further wrote in Hindi about the late Satish Kaushik, “He was an inspiration and left behind a strong legacy for his family. The foundation was laid. His loss cannot be expressed in words. They may not be in this world today, but their memories and traditions will live on through them.”
