Pittsburgh weekend weather: Rain, wind, snow

Impact Day on Saturday in Pittsburgh with rain and wind, followed by snow Sunday

UNTIL LATER TONIGHT AND INTO TOMORROW. AND AS THAT HAPPENS, WE WILL SEE THOSE SHOWERS BEGIN TO WORK THEIR WAY ACROSS THE REGION. YOU’LL SEE HERE AS WE GO INTO SATURDAY AT NOON TIME, WE’LL HAVE WIDESPREAD RAIN. THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME POCKETS OF HEAVY RAIN AS WELL AS THIS MOVES IN WITH LOW PRESSURE THAT’S GOING TO MOVE RIGHT THROUGH THE AREA OVER THE WEEKEND. WE GO INTO SUNDAY, THAT LOW WILL MOVE UP TO THE NORTH COUNTERCLOCKWISE. SPIN WILL BRING IN SOME COLD AIR FROM THE NORTH, SO ANY MOISTURE THAT IS LEFT OVER ON SUNDAY THAT IS GOING TO FALL IN THE FORM PRIMARILY OF SOME FLURRIES OR LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS, ALTHOUGH TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO BE PRETTY MARGINAL UP NOT BEING DOWN CLOSE TO THE FREEZING MARK FOR TOO TERRIBLY LONG ON SUNDAY. BUT WE’LL SHOW YOU HERE ON SATURDAY, 2:00 IN THE MORNING. WE HAVE THE SHOWERS WITH US AS WE GO THROUGH THE DAY, ESPECIALLY THE MIDDLE PART OF THE DAY. ABOUT 10:00 TO ABOUT 3:00 IN THE AFTERNOON. WIDESPREAD RAIN WITH POCKETS OF HEAVY RAIN. AND THEN WE GO INTO THE EVENING HOURS THAT WILL FINALLY START TO MOVE OUT. LESS MOISTURE ON SUNDAY. BUT AS YOU CAN SEE, A CHANCE FOR SOME FLURRIES OR LIGHT SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS AS WE GO TOWARDS THE END OF THE WEEKEND AND THAT WILL LAST INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. AS FAR AS HOW MUCH SNOW WE’RE LOOKING AT, WELL, A LOT OF THIS IS GOING TO MELT WHEN IT HITS THE WARM GROUND LIKE ON THE ROADWAYS, BUT YOU COULD SEE MAYBE A DUSTING, POSSIBLY A COATING IN GRASSY AREAS, MAYBE IN SOME MULCH. THIS IS HOW MUCH SNOW IS GOING TO FALL, NOT HOW MUCH IS GOING TO BE ON THE GROUND. AS WE TAKE A LOOK AT THE WIND, IT IS ALSO GOING TO PICK UP AS WE GO THROUGH TOMORROW. IT WILL BE BREEZY ON SUNDAY. WE’LL SEE GUSTS THAT WILL GET A LITTLE STRONGER UP TO AROUND 35, POSSIBLY 40MPH ON SUNDAY. SO FOR TOMORROW, LOW TEMPERATURE OF 49 DEGREES. VERY MILD START TO THE DAY HIGH OF 54 DEGREES. THOSE GUSTS TOMORROW WILL BE UP TO AROUND 25MPH. WE WILL MAKE IT AN IMPACT DAY ON SATURDAY FOR THE RAIN, AS WELL AS THE WIND THAT’S GOING TO BE OUT THERE, AND THEN THE FLURRIES AND LIGHT SNOW MOVING IN ON SUNDAY. REALLY JUST ONE DAY WHERE WE DROP OFF WITH TEMPERATURES BELOW NORMAL. WE WARM RIGHT BACK UP AS WE HEAD INTO NEXT WEEK. TEMPERATUR
