TODAY, PROJECT LEADERS PRESENTED PLANS FOR A MASSIVE SCREEN TO PITTSBURGH’S PLANNING COMMISSION. THEY WANT TO ADD A 917 SQUARE FOOT LED VIDEO BOARD TO THE 30,000 SQUARE FOOT PLAZA THAT’S CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW. THIS IS A FOR A LARGE VIDEO DISPLAY, WHICH IS ONE SMALL BUT VERY IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF A GREATER PROJECT. IF APPROVED, IT WOULD GO IN A CURRENTLY BLANK PARKING GARAGE WALL. THE HOPE HERE IS TO CREATE A GATHERING PLACE ON GAME DAY. PEOPLE CAN COME GRAB A DRINK AND WATCH THE PIRATES OR STEELERS. AS WE TOOK THE PROPOSAL TO FANS. The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh has announced plans to expand with a $45 million events venue.The entertainment project is part of the museum’s ‘Pop District’ initiative and would be built on an existing museum parking lot, according to Dan Law, the museum’s associate director.
