Iñaki Godoy and the others found themselves in South Africa to film the sequel to Netflix's live-action series.
One year after the airing of season 1, the Straw Hat Pirates are back together. Netflix announces the start of filming for season 2 of One Piecewith this little video which shows the reunion of the cast.
We discover Iñaki Godoy (Luffy), Mackenyu (Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero (Usopp) and Taz Skylar (Sanji) who meet in South Africa, on the deck of the Going Merry, to begin production of the new episodes.
Incidentally, the streamer announced that it had signed Ilia Isorelys Paulino to play Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
This season 2 of One Piece should be filmed for several months. No release expected before 2025, on Netflix.
