Swansea striker Joel Piroe is heading to Leeds for a medical after the clubs agreed a fee of around £12m.
The 24-year-old has scored 44 goals in the last two seasons with Swansea, making him a hot property this summer.
Teams like Everton, Leicester City and Southampton have shown interest in the former Dutch U20 international. However, Leeds held key negotiations on Monday and worked hard to convince the striker to move to Elland Road.
Leeds intend to add at least four more players before the window closes.
They made an offer of around £5m for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Nadiem Amiri, inquired about Genk winger Joseph Paintsil and held talks with Rangers for midfielder Glen Kamara.
Leeds also wants to add another winger.
