This first trailer of the Project Silence of Kim Tae-gon sees man's best friend transform into his worst enemy in an anxiety-provoking atmosphere that only Korean directors know how to create. This short preview shows a mix of thriller, film noir, horror and disaster film that explains the film's presentation in a midnight screening at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
“I wanted to evoke, in an immersive way, the anxiety and tension that arise when a familiar environment and domestic animals suddenly become threats.”explains the director.
Actor, producer and screenwriter in addition to being a director, this is the first time that Kim Tae-gon has benefited from such an international spotlight. It must be said that for Project Silencehe surrounded himself with the greatest technicians and actors of Korean cinema.
