
Dakshina Rajinikanth’s Jailer is doing well at the box office. It has been three days since the release of the film and in three days the film has earned 109 crores. According to media reports, Jailer has collected around Rs 109 crore across all languages in India.

The Tamil film directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar recorded 92.7 percent business in Chennai and 90.5 percent in NCR on Saturday. The Telugu version of Jailer had an overall occupancy of 78.87 percent on Saturday.

The song Kavala from Jailor has become quite popular on social media. Many reels have been made on this song on Instagram. Apart from Rajinikanth, it also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Jackie Shroff, Mohanlal and Shiv Rajkumar in important roles.

According to a Times of India report, Rajinikanth earned Rs 110 crore from the film, while Jackie Shroff and Shiva Rajkumar earned nearly Rs 4 crore. The report also revealed that actress Tamannaah Bhatia, whose dance track Kawla became a huge hit before the film’s release, charged Rs 3 crore for her role.

Rajinikanth’s Jailer took a tremendous opening at the theatres. After the release of the film, the actor went to the Badrinath temple in Uttarakhand. A video surfaced showing Rajinikanth interacting with enthusiastic fans and walking around the temple.

Jailer marks Rajinikanth’s return to the big screen after a gap of two years. The actor played the role of ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian in this film. Anirudh has composed the music.

Gadar 2 and OMG 2 hit theaters on August 11. Ghadar 2 has so far collected Rs 80 crore in two days. Jailer released in theaters on August 11.
