A shooting at an apartment complex in Harrison Township, Allegheny County, sent one man to the hospital Monday evening. Police in the 00 block of Park Avenue around 5:30 p.m. found a man shot in the chest.He was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition, according to Allegheny County police.A criminal complaint for Albert Pittman said Pittman had approached the man, a stranger to him, asking him for “bud.” He then pulled a gun and shot the man.The victim said he had seen Pittman in the area the day before wearing all black clothing and a face mask, the same clothing he had on when the shooting happened. Pittman was taken to the Allegheny County Jail with a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 26. He is being charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a minor.County police are leading the investigation into the shooting.
