“Quentin has been talking some crap about me recently, so I'm a little pissed at him right now,”begins George Clooney before specifying: “In this interview, he named movie stars, and he mentioned Brad, and somebody else, and then this guy asks him, “What about George?” And he said I'm not a movie star. And then he literally said something like, “Name me one movie of his since the 2000s!” What do you mean? Since the year 2000? That's where I've had my whole fucking career!“
And George Clooney to conclude his tackle by sliding:
“So now I want to tell him: OK man! Fuck off! Go fuck yourself. I don't mind telling him to go fuck himself!”
Taking a more serious tone, George Clooney Still, he admits that the Hollywood industry in general has changed a lot since Clooney and Pitt started out in the 1990s. “It's true that Hollywood doesn't develop stars the way the studio system used to… Brad and I are kind of at the tail end of that era, where you could work with a studio and make three or four movies in a row with them. It was planned. I don't think that's the case anymore. It's definitely harder to sell a project to someone based on a star's name…”
