This is the blockbuster event of the week: Alien returns for a seventh opus, but which is in fact a direct sequel to the first episode, including Fede Alvarez (Don't Breathe, Evil Dead) got the idea while watching the long version ofAliensby James CameronWondering what life was like for very young colonists sent to dangerous planets that had not yet been terraformed, the director designed a horror film as a tribute to the two original films, full of winks, even to the Greco-Roman cultural references shared with Ridley Scott.
Because after borrowing from the myth of Prometheus, the creator ofAlien and producer of this new opus has accepted that this sequel be called Romulus. And not only “because I wanted a seven-letter word for this seventh episode”jokes Fede Alvarez at the microphone of Firstexplaining all the symbolism behind the legend of Remus and Romulus, the founding brothers of Rome.
