Ayrton Senna biopic series set for Netflix release

Six episodes to tell the legend of the Brazilian champion.

While waiting for Brad Pitt in a bucket seat, Formula 1 will still be in the spotlight on Netflix in the coming weeks, with the release of Sennaa new sports biopic, starring Gabriel Leone in the role of the late Ayrton Senna.

Consisting of six episodes, Senna will describe “the journey of legendary Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna, through the obstacles he overcame, his ups and downs, his joys and sorrows, exploring his personality and personal relationships. The starting point of the miniseries will be the beginning of the career of the triple Formula 1 champion, when Ayrton Senna moved to England to race in Formula Ford, until the tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix.”
