Axel Foley is back: the first 5 minutes of Beverly Hills Cop 4

A few hours before the online launch of the Beverly Hills Cop 4Netflix already offers the first glimpse of the return ofEddie Murphy in the shoes of Axel Foley: the opening of the film and the first 5 minutes are to be seen (below).

Like the previous films, Axel F begins in the streets of Detroit, Axel's hometown. “Even though it's a sequel, I'm not 22 anymore,” Murphy confides to Netflixx. “I had this whole other life and so I can play that. Axel at 22 and Axel at 63? That's a whole different person.”

Not so different after all. In this opening, we can clearly see Axel, who hams it up and teases his police colleague Mike Woody (Kyle More) during a hockey game… a pretext to investigate a gang of thugs!

Directed by Mark Molloy, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. will be released on July 3 on Netflix.
