On the sidelines of the Telluride Film Festival, the French director was interviewed by IndieWire. And Jacques Audiard revealed that he had this idea for a film that would take place before the events ofEmilia Perez. But IndieWire clarifies that at this stage, it's just an idea that amuses him and that he doesn't really intend to make it happen.

Emilia Pérez received the jury prize at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival as well as an acting prize shared by its actresses. It has passed the million admissions mark in France and is approaching $10 million in worldwide revenue.
