State police said an 83-year-old man’s death in German Township, Fayette County, is being investigated as a homicide. In a news release, police said Anthony Dicenzo Sr. left his home in Brownsville around 5 p.m. Friday and did not return. His family reported him missing early Saturday morning. Troopers later found the man dead inside his car, a 2011 white Cadillac STS, on Riffle Hollow Road. Police said Dicenzo had been shot.No additional details have been released.The Fayette County District Attorney’s Office is investigating with state police. District Attorney Mike Aubele described the investigation as “very active” on Monday.In the missing person report, police said that Decenzo had left his home to look at real estate properties. The report said he was last seen wearing blue jeans and a denim jacket, and was last believed to be in the area of Route 166 in Republic, Redstone Township.This is a developing story.
